PTFE hose fittings – general information

The range of fittings used with PTFE hoses is virtually unlimited in terms of the type of connection to the system. They are assembled with standard industrial fittings (e.g. flange, threaded, CAMLOCK), hygienic fittings for the food and pharmaceutical industry (e.g. DIN 11851, SMS, RJT, IDF, Triclover), threaded fittings typical for high pressure hydraulics (BSP, BSPT, NPT, metric, JIC), many other types of fittings with end connections made according to customer specification.

The fittings and ferrules intended for PTFE hoses are made of zinc-plated carbon steel, 304 and 316 stainless steel, polypropylene or other materials. An interesting type of fitting is DIP PIPE, made as a rigid, straight or angled PTFE pipe for filling and emptying tanks, barrels, containers, etc.
